Gary D. Hurlbert

Gary D. Hurlbert, age 69, of Dover Township, Dover, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at UPMC Memorial. He was the husband of Beth M. (Knold) Hurlbert. He was a loving husband, father, and papal and loved to spend time with his grandkids.

Born January 14, 1952 in Cairo, Illinois, a son of the late Rev. Donald E. and Donna (Liichow) Hurlbert, he was retired from Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where he had worked as a CNA.

In addition to his wife of 47 years, Mr. Hurlbert is survived by a daughter, Megan M. Smith, and her husband Nathan, of East Berlin; a son, Nathan J. Hurlbert, and his wife Jessica, of York; five grandchildren, Lincoln, Gabriel, Peyton, Ryland, and Raegan; four brothers, David Hurlbert, Phillip Hurlbert, and his wife Gina, Richard Hurlbert, and his wife Terri, and Jon Hurlbert, and his wife Karla; and a sister-in-law Chris Hurlbert Gemmell. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Hurlbert.

William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, Shiloh, is in charge of private arrangements.
