Gary Schmohl Obituary

Gary L. Schmohl, age 69, of Springettsbury Township, York, went to be with the Lord at 3:26 PM Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at his residence.

Born August 25, 1953, a son of Dorothy M. (Hartman) Schmohl, of York, and the late Philip L. Schmohl, he retired in 1993 from the former Tally House Restaurant in the York Mall. He was a member of Pleasureville United Methodist Church, and enjoyed music, westerns and playing his drums and guitar.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Schmohl is survived by his brother, Stephen R. Schmohl, and his wife Brenda, of York; and two nephews, Christopher L. and Kevin R. Schmohl.

Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of private funeral arrangements. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pleasureville United Methodist Church, 2606 North Sherman Street, York, PA 17406.
