Gene U. Miller

Gene U. Miller, age 92, of Newberry Township, Manchester, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, surrounded by his family, at Rest Haven York. He was the husband of the late Yvonne (Davis) Miller.

Born October 5, 1932, in Yoe, Gene was a son of the late Richard and Veletta (Bupp) Miller and worked for New Penn Motor Express before retiring in 1995.

Mr. Miller is survived by four sons, Jeffrey A. Miller and his wife Pat, of York, Brian K. Miller, and his wife Christine, of Yoe, Kevin L. Miller, and his wife Heidi, of York, and Mark A. Miller, and his wife Jennifer, of York; three daughters, Sharon E. Cookson, and her husband David, of Williamsburg, Michigan, Brenda J. Diffenbaugh, and her husband Bill, of Lancaster, and Lori A. Wunsch, and her husband Bill, of Mount Wolf; seventeen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren with three additional great grandchildren expected; and two great-great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Stewart Miller; and two sisters, Shirley McCurdy and Elaine Fisher.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, March 17, 2025, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with The Rev. Leland Manuel, of Cassels Community Church, officiating. Viewing will be from 1:00-2:00 PM. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
