George Mars passed away peacefully in his sleep after a brief illness.
George was born on May 14, 1937, in Glasgow Scotland, to Thomas Lyle Mars and Minnie Davidson Mars.
George was the beloved husband of Mary Macgregor Mars and loving father of Janis Macgregor Mars.
George was a successful businessman and engineer who enjoyed soccer, golf, gardening and time with his family.
George is predeceased by his parents and brothers, James and Tommy Mars.
Following a private cremation, a memorial service will be held in Scotland at the convenience of family. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
He will be sorely missed.
