George W. Winter

George W. Winter, age 79, of Manchester Township, York, died Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Delmar Villa Assisted Living, in Delmar, Maryland. He was the husband of the late Catherine A. (Conner) Winter.

Born October 26, 1945, in York, a son of the late Paul R. and Margaret E. (Sechrist) Winter, he was a US Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War, and had worked as a self-employed electrician.

Mr. Winter was also preceded in death by twin brothers, Woodrow A. and Morris B. Winter.

Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of private funeral arrangements, with burial in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
