Georjean Ambrose

On Sunday, February 14, 2021, Georjean Ambrose, loving mother,
grandmother, sister and friend, passed away at age 63.

Born February 14, 1958 in York, she was the daughter of the late George K.
and Betty Jane (Sterner) Kennedy, she attended York County School of
Technology and was a 1976 graduate of William Penn High School. Georjean
loved and was loved by so many family members and friends. She was
always there for anyone who needed a shoulder to cry on, a friend to listen
or to simply hang out and laugh. She is forever in our hearts and will be
greatly missed.

Mrs. Ambrose is survived by a daughter, Angela Valentin, and her husband
Anibal Jr., of York; a son, Shawn Ambrose, and his wife JaNa, of York; six
grandchildren, Paige, Anthony, Nathaniel, Alyssa, Ashton, and Bryce; three
great grandchildren, Hector, Roxas and Lia; two step grandchildren, Payge
and Danielle; and three brothers, Stephen Kennedy, and his wife Christine,
Raymond Kennedy, and Brian Kennedy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Workinger Semmel Funeral
Homes and Cremation, Inc., 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of
arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westminster
Presbyterian Church, 320 North Queen Street, York, PA 17403.
