Gerald E. Gingerich, age 89, of Goldsboro, died at 12:25 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of Marlene K. (Rodes) Gingerich.

Born October 16, 1935, in York, a son of the late Clair H. and Grace G. (Shank) Gingerich, he retired from the State of Pennsylvania where he worked for the Museum Commission.

In addition to his wife of 69 years, Mr. Gingerich is survived by a son, Keith E. Gingerich, and his wife Kim, of New Cumberland; two daughters, Jolene K. Poe, and her husband Bradley, of York, and Tina R. McDonald, and her husband Michael, of York; eight grandchildren, Therina Himes, Jennifer Dherit, Kevin McDonald, Michaela Richard, Jared Gingerich, Jordan Gingerich, Taren Gingerich, and Shaylin Gingerich; eight great grandchildren, Kyle, Zachery, Dillon, Jocelyn, Addilyn, Korbin, Finn, and Merrick; and a sister, Gloria F. Duncker, of York. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard H. Gingerich and Marvin L. Gingerich.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, March 24, 2025, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with Chaplain Dot Everhart officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens. Livestream of services will be available at www.facebook.com/KuhnerAssociates
