Gloria Trumbower Marcocelli Hollinger Hullmann, age 96, entered into rest on Sunday, January 26, 2025. She was the wife of William G. Hullmann, the late John A. Marcocelli and the late William E. Hollinger.

Born January 11, 1929, in Martins Corner, Chester County, a daughter of the late Franklin and Helen (Beecher) Trumbower, she was an honor graduate from Coatesville High School in 1946 and worked as a secretary for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Welfare Department until she retired in 1990. She volunteered at Colonial Manor Nursing Home for over 15 years and was a member of the York Galleria Mall Walkers, Golden Nuggets and AARP Chapter 3400. She was a former member of the White Rose Square Dancers and The Stepping Tones Musical Group. She was also a member of Saint Cecilia’s Church of Coatesville until moving to York in 1979 and then was a longtime member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of York.

Until the time of her death, she enjoyed a full, active and happy life with family and friends. Other than her family, her favorite things in life were dancing, walking, reading, traveling worldwide and volunteering. Gloria would like to be remembered as a person who lived her life to the fullest and was grateful for it all.

In addition to her husband, Gloria is survived by her children, John A. Marcocelli Jr. and his wife Karen, of Seneca, South Carolina, Marcella Marcocelli, of Round Hill, Virginia, Michael M. Marcocelli and his wife Millie, of Coatesville, Melissa Bowers, of York, and Martin J. Marcocelli and his wife Carmelina, of Zurich, Switzerland; five step children, twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren, numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; a brother, Harold Trumbower, of Deltona, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael David Marcocelli; and four sisters, Arlene M. Lang, Elaine Hartman, Shirley Shearer, and Cynthia Howe.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 309 South George Street, York, with The Rev. Matthew Larlick as Celebrant. Viewing will be 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
