Gregory Warmbrodt Obituary

Gregory S. Warmbrodt, age 57, of Loganville, died at 10:15 AM Saturday, November 20, 2021. He was the loving husband of Tamara L. Daugherty.

Born March 6, 1964, in Ridgway, a son of Jean (Livingston) Warmbrodt, of Dryden, New York, and the late James Warmbrodt, he was a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He was currently employed as Senior Creative Director for Sylvan Learning Centers at their corporate office in Hunt Valley, Maryland. He was a member of Saint John the Baptist Episcopal Church, in York, Fox Hollow Golf League, the Bon Air Country Club, the York Art Association, and the National Stereoscopic Association.

In addition to his wife of 21 years, Greg is survived by two brothers, Jim (Mary) Warmbrodt, of Wexford, and Dave (Lisa) Warmbrodt, of Groton, New York. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Taylor (Warmbrodt) Natale, Shelby Warmbrodt, Colin Warmbrodt, Anna Warmbrodt, Kate Daugherty, and Kaley Daugherty, and his in-laws, Tom and Carol Daugherty, as well as Tom and Kim Daugherty. Greg touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Greg lived an incredibly rich and full life and was a true creative talent. He was an award-winning painter, a prolific musician, and a pioneer in 3D video creation and stereoscopic imaging. Greg was also a die-hard Pittsburgh Pirates fan, an enthusiastic golfer, and a lifelong collector. He loved to travel and visited twenty countries with his wife, but his favorite spot in the world was Port Clyde, Maine. He was a big animal lover and enjoyed nothing more than walking his cherished pups, Fiona, and Mulligan. He is now reunited with his beloved Spunky, Lucas and Paddington. Greg was known by many for his wickedly witty sense of humor and his one-of-a kind creative pursuits.
