Gregory C. Willis

Gregory C. Willis, age 77, of North Codorus Township, York, died at 5:30 PM Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the husband of Susan B. (Brill) Willis.

Born August 15, 1946, in York, a son of the late W. Clair and Barbara J. (Mills) Willis, he was a 1964 graduate of York High and retired from Ironworkers Local 404. After retirement he worked for the South End Democratic Club. He was a member of various VFW’s and Legions as well as the South End Democratic Club, 13th Ward Democratic Club, 12th Ward Democratic Club, and Eagles Club. He was also an Air Force veteran serving during Vietnam.

In addition to his wife of 40 years, Mr. Willis is survived by two children, Amy T. Jeffers (Michael), and Aaron G. Willis (Ivy); two grandsons, Samuel Jeffers and Braydon Willis; and two brothers, Scott Willis and William Ort. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Steven Willis.

Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, are in charge of private funeral arrangements.
