Harriet McPherson

Harriet McPherson, age 93, of York, died at 1:30 PM Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Amoroso Wellness at York.

Born June 6, 1931, in Willimantic, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Sarah (Snyder) Brettschneider.  She retired from Patrick Air Force Base in Brevard County, Florida and after retirement worked for Publix Supermarket.  In earlier years she had also worked as a waitress and bartender at the family business in Connecticut.

She is survived by a son, Randy Flaum, and his wife Debbie, of York; two grandsons, Aaron and Kyle Flaum; and seven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Norm Brett.
