Harry W. Frey, age 73, of York, died at 11:58 PM Sunday, August 11, 2024, at his residence. He was the husband of Cynthia K. (Smith) Frey.

Born March 1, 1951, in York, a son of the late Preston and Betty Jane (Frey) Frey, he worked for the City of York and was a member of the Eagles Club and Orioles Club.

In addition to his wife, of 20 years, Mr. Frey is survived by a son, Gregory E. Frey, of New Oxford; two stepsons, Creden J. Sponseller, of Littlestown, and Chad M. Sponseller, of North York; numerous grandchildren; and a brother, Preston Frey. He was also preceded in death by a son, Harry W. Frey, Jr.; two sisters, Lynne Frey and Gwendolyn Livingston; and a brother, Thomas Frey.

A viewing will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2024, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York.
