Hazel M. Ansell, age 100, of Springettsbury Township, York, died at 6:51 PM Friday, August 22, 2025, at Rest Haven-York. She was the wife of the late Frank Ansell.

Born September 13, 1924, in Somerset County, she was a daughter of the late Irvin B. and Maire (Scheler) Brant.

Mrs. Ansell is survived by a son, Blair E. Ansell, and his wife Susan, of York, four grandchildren, Klesha Magee, Christopher Ansell, Meredith Jester, and Phillip Ansell; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Janet Brant, Homer Brant, Marne “Bill” Brant and Virginia Keen. She was also preceded in death by a son, Cary F. Ansell, and his wife Brenda.

Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of private funeral arrangements.  Burial will be in Scullton Cemetery, Rockwood.
