Helen E. Hibner, age 87, of West Manchester Township, York, died at 12:01 AM Friday, January 2, 2026, at Wellspan York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Ferman E. Hibner.

Born March 8, 1938, in York, she was a daughter of the late William M. Humer and the late Sadie C. (Eppley) Humer Matthewson and had been employed by Stauffer Biscuit Company.

Mrs. Hibner is survived by two sons, Timothy Hibner, and his wife, Sue, of York, and Daniel E. Hibner, of Dover; a daughter, Elizabeth M. Hibner, and her husband Douglas Trone, of York; a daughter-in-law, Traci Hibner, of Vermont; eleven grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael P. Hibner; a daughter-in-law, Marchelle Dellinger Landis; a brother, Clyde Humer; and a sister, Patricia Carter.
