Helen V. Lanoie, 85, of West Manchester Township, York, PA, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of the late André Lanoie. Born on January 18, 1939, in Philadelphia, Helen was the daughter of the late Robert J. Kane and Anne C. McHale. She is survived by her three devoted children: Rosemary Stolakis and her husband George of York, PA; Jennifer Varley and her husband Todd of Milford, PA; and André Lanoie and his partner Greg Wiske of Brooklyn, NY.
Helen is also survived by six grandchildren: Heather and Jeff Montemurro of Whitehouse Station, NJ; George and Rebecca Stolakis of Odessa, FL; Ashley Varley of Lancaster, PA; Ryan and Teri Stolakis of York, PA; Chris and Danielle Stolakis of Hoboken, NJ; and TJ Varley and Leiann Rocheny of Milford, PA. Additionally, she leaves behind six great-granddaughters: Giuliana, Penelope, Aspen, Amelia, Rhea, and Elsie; as well as loving nephews William Klimkofski, and Robert Klimkofski and his wife Tracey, along with their family.
Helen was predeceased by her twin sister and best friend, Rosemary V. Klimkofski of Barrington, NJ. In addition to her deep love for her family, Helen adored her many four-legged companions, including Riley, Emmy, Pippa, and Maya.
Private funeral arrangements are being handled by William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., located at 2150 Carlisle Road, York. Burial will take place at New Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Bellmawr, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Helen's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
