Ilene M. King, age 89, of Pleasureville, died at 1:30 AM Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of the late John R. King, Jr.

Born July 15, 1936, in Sellersville, Bucks County, she was the daughter of the late Mariam (Mann) Trauger Bastian, and was raised by her aunt and uncle, the late Ida and Howard Long.  She was retired from Topflight Tape and Label and was a member of Pleasureville Christian Church.

Mrs. King is survived by two daughters, Kathleen L. Schrum, and her husband Kurvin “Bud”, of East Prospect, and Debra L. Snyder, and her husband Todd, of York; a son John H. King, and his wife Penny, of Waveland, Mississippi; five grandchildren, Kelly, Kevin, Lindsay, Alexis, and Ross; seven great grandchildren; and Penny’s, children, Chris, Brandon, and Casey. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, William, Donald and Richard Trauger.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, October 20, 2025, at Pleasureville Christian Church, 2606 North Sherman Street, York, with Pastor Steven Livermore and Pastor David Kominsky officiating. Viewing will be from 9:00-10:00 AM. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.  William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
