Jack C. Wood, age 91, of York Township, died Thursday, October 9, 2025, at UPMC Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Dorothy J. “Bic” (Braner) Wood.

Born November 18, 1933, in York, he was the son of the late Corbett S. and Margie M. (Miller) Wood. He was the owner of Woodies Body Shop.

Mr. Wood is survived by a son, Thomas C. Wood, and his wife, Cindy, of Windsor; two daughters, Tanya Ann Wood, of Gulfport, Florida, and Tara Lynn Calaman, and her husband Walter, of York; three grandchildren, Jennifer Reynolds, Tracy Linn, and Jason Wood; seven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 E. Market Street, York, is in charge of private funeral arrangements.
