Jacqueline M. Tucker, age 84, of Spring Garden Township, York, and Naples, Florida, died at 7:05 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at her residence. She was the wife of Neil R. Tucker.

Born May 29, 1939, in York, a daughter of the late Glenn and Estella (Robertson) Miller, she worked as a manager at Bookland, as well as Quaker City Paper’s outlet store. She was a member of Temple Beth Israel, The Country Club of York, and Regents Glen Country Club. She was also a former member of the Out Door Country Club, Junior League and Atkins House.

In addition to her husband of 50 years, Mrs. Tucker is survived by a daughter, Cassandra B. “Sandy” Strawn, of Naples, Florida; a son Andrew B. Brown, and his wife Danila, of York; five grandchildren, Kelsey Urtz, Madeline Kaufmann, Joseph Strawn, Owen Brown, and Hailey Brown; four great grandchildren, Foster, Rose, Merritt, and Lucy; and two sisters, Judith Murray and Debra Ross, both of York.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Temple Beth Israel, 2090 Hollywood Drive, York, with Rabbi Melody Davis officiating. Private burial will be in South Hill Hebrew Cemetery.
