James A. Billet, age 56, of Manchester Township, York, died at 9:30 AM Saturday, June 22, 2024, at his residence. He was the longtime boyfriend of Valerie M. Alwine.

Born June 21, 1968, in York, a son of the late Kenneth A. and Arlene Mary (Shaub) Stine, he had been employed as a welder and supervisor for Vista Machines until the time of his illness. He enjoyed landscaping, motorcycles and ATVs, and loved his animals.

In addition to his girlfriend, Mr. Billet is survived by two daughters, Kayla Billet, and her husband Jerrett, of Red Lion, and Cassandra Fay, of Boston; a son, Justin Lane, of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Cory ana Jenna; a brother, Keith Billet, of Dover; and three sisters, Sharon Ellis, of Mechanicsburg, Mary Billet, of Dillsburg, and Tammy Bailey, of York. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Billet.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, June 27, 2024, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, York, with Pastor Nathan Shaffer officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens.
