James L. Edleblute

James L. “Jimmy” “Turkey” Edleblute, age 73, of Manchester, died at 2:29 AM Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Wellspan York Hospital.

Born February 19, 1953, in York County, he was one of four children of the late Luther C. and Fairy B. (Spangler) Edleblute. He is survived by his loving Dolan and Harget families.

He had a care giving heart and loved delivering oil with Doug in the Dolan Oil truck, being a member of the Pool Team at the Etters VFW, and serving as bat boy for the Dolan Oilers Soft Ball Team. He was an avid fan of the Orioles (especially Boog Powell), Hulk Hogan, NASCAR’s Jeff Gordon, the Three Stooges, and Scooby Doo.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with Pastor Judy Bupp officiating. Viewings will be from 4:00-6:00 PM Tuesday and 9:00-10:00 AM Wednesday. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberrytown.
