James Gill Obituary

James C. Gill, age 41, of East Manchester Township, Manchester, died Friday,
April 2, 2021 of natural causes after a formidable battle with alcoholism. He
was the husband of Kristen (Hinchman) Gill.

Born October 24, 1979 in Wichita, Kansas, he served in the US Air Force from
2003 - 2015 and was a recipient of the Iraq Campaign Medal as well as The
Air Force Commendation Medal. While on Active Duty, he earned a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Operations Management. He was honorably discharged
and subsequently earned a Master of Science Degree in Organizational
Leadership and a Master of Science Degree in Management Information
Systems. As a civilian, he was employed as a Senior Solutions Specialist with
Deloitte in Mechanicsburg.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Gill is survived by their four children; two sons,
Dakota J. and Colton C. Gill, twin daughters, Keira A. and Katelyn L. Gill; a
niece, Ava L. Hinchman; father and step-mother, R. Mark and Anh Kim Gill, of
Lincoln, Nebraska; his mother, Linda D. (McDaniel) Strickland, of Mansfield,
Texas; two sisters, Lori and Theresa, of Lincoln; a brother, Timothy Gill, of
Lincoln; three half-sisters, Tina, Kathleen and Tosha, of Mansfield, Texas;
mother-in-law, Karen Marshall, of York; father-in-law, Ed Hinchman, of
Wilmington, North Carolina; and three brothers-in-law, Michael, Nicholas, and
Timothy Hinchman and his wife Rebecca. He was also preceded in death by a
sister-in-law, Molly Hinchman, of Wilmington, North Carolina.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, April 16, 2021 at
Manchester Union Cemetery, with The Rev. David Tietje officiating. Military
rites will be presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. William E.
Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, is in charge of
arrangements.
