Janet Mae Rogers Blauser entered her eternal rest on November 4th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, William “Bill” Blauser, and her mother, Nellie E. (Rogers) Slagel.

Janet was a stay-at-home mom, a sewing machine operator at Danskin, and a teller at York Federal Savings and Loan as the children grew older. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, playing for the women’s softball team there.

Janet is survived by her children, Robin E. Blauser, of Wallingford, and Timothy A. Blauser, and his wife Ritie, of Dover; six grandchildren, Seth T. Blake, and his wife Kayla, David A. Kelly, and his wife Lexi, Karsyn R. Blauser, Naomi E. Frazier, Allyson M. Moyer, and her husband Matt, and Jarrod L. Slagel; four great grandchildren Annaleigh, Sawyer, Morgan, and Emerson; a brother, Jeffrey Slagel, and his wife Cindy, of Yoe; a nephew, Jonathan Slagel, and his wife, Amy; a niece, Janna Slagel; and great nieces and nephew, Lily, Ren, Jacob, and Claire. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Claire Slagel; and a stepbrother, Philip Slagel.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Monday, November 10, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with Chaplain Timothy Munson officiating. Viewing will be from 9:30-11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 320 North Queen Street, York, PA 17403.
