Janet P. McCormack

Janet P. McCormack, age 89, of Springettsbury Township, York, died at 8:48 PM Tuesday November 8, 2022, at Amoroso Wellness at York, formerly The Brunswick at Longtown, where the family was grateful for the kind and compassionate care. She was the wife of the late D. James McCormack. 

Born August 18, 1933, in York, the daughter of the late George and Jessie (Berger) Philips, she had worked as a bank teller and The Drovers until the time of her marriage.  She a member of Saint John Episcopal Church. 

Mrs. McCormack is survived by two daughters, Karen E. McCormack, and her husband Andrew Boll, of York, and Jessica A. Baughman, and her husband Kevin, of Brogue; a son, Daniel J.  McCormack, Jr., of York; a daughter-in-law, Kimberly McCormack, of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Kevin Baughman, and his wife Lauren, Megan Baughman, and her fiancé Jared Englert, D. James McCormack III., Kaitlyn McCormack, and Brock McCormack; three great grandchildren, Isabella McCormack, Cameron McCormack, and Gabriel Baughman. She was also preceded in death by a son, George Webster McCormack. 

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, November 18, 2022, at Saint John Episcopal Church, 140 North Beaver Street, York, with her Pastor, The Rev’d Eric Hillegas, officiating. A reception with the family will immediately follow. Burial will be at The Lloyd Memorial Garden. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
