Jay A. Druck, age 71, of Dover Township, Dover, died at 6:23 AM Friday, January 3, 2025, at his residence. He was the loving husband of Jane S. (Keener) Druck.
Born October 26, 1953, in York, a son of the late George A. and Victoria M. (Olewiler) Druck, he worked as an insulator for Heat and Frost Insulators Local #23 in Harrisburg. He was a volunteer firefighter for Dover Fire Department, was active with Central York High School Football, and attended Salvation Army Worship Services. He was also a cancer survivor for five and half years.
In addition to his wife of 46 years, Mr. Druck was a devoted father and is survived by a daughter, Kelly J. Sponseller, and her husband Chad, of York; two grandchildren, Grant X. Sponseller and Kaitlin M. Sponseller; and two sisters, Kay Presler and Lois Quigley. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Stanley Druck; and a sister, Judith Delp.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 PM Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with Major Sue Saunders officiating. Viewing will be from 11:30-1:30. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
