Joan Y. Gromling

Joan Y. Gromling, age 86, of Manchester, died at 8:05 PM
Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Colonial Manor Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Herman E.
Gromling.

Born September 28, 1934 in Hellam Township, she was a daughter
of the late Spurgeon and Mary (Eisenhour) Smeltzer. She had
worked in administration at Bernstein Sewing Factory, and also as
an Avon Representative for more than 30 years, and was an avid
BINGO player.

Mrs. Gromling is survived by a daughter, Jeane M. Kerr, and her
husband Stephen, of Dover; two sons, Robert Gromling, and his
companion Melissa, of York Haven, and David Gromling, and his
wife Carol, of Paoli, Kansas; four grandchildren, William Kerr, and his partner Samantha Rosier
Sarah Kerr ,and her partner Zack Schimmel Elizabeth Gromling, and Elijah Gromling; a great
grandson, Lucas Kerr; a sister, Dawn May; and a brother, David
Smeltzer.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, March
31, 2021 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York. William E.
Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, is in
charge of arrangements.
