Joan E Myers

Joan E. Myers, age 83, of York, Pennsylvania, died at 9:33 AM Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Amoroso Wellness at York.  She was the wife of the late Elmer V. Myers.

Born January 28, 1940, in York, the daughter of the late Sylvester F. and Anna (Dull) Wolfe, she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Vigilant and York County Fireman’s Associations and was an avid bowler.

Mrs. Myers is survived by four sons:  Robert and Brian Wilkinson, of York, Timothy Wilkinson, of Macon, Georgia, and Bradley Hallett, of Manchester; four grandchildren; Kourtney Metcalf, Austin Hallett, Tyler Wilkinson, and Blake Hallett; three great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Bryson, and Valencia Hallett. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Ramon Wolfe; and two sisters, Susan Rudy and Donna Tome.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 PM Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at The Semmel Chapel of Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with Rev. Bonnie Whittier officiating.  Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30. Burial will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
