Joan Marie Bailey, age 89, of East Manchester Township, Manchester, died at 3:24 PM Friday, August 23, 2024, at Wellspan York Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Nathan E. Bailey.

Born February 6, 1935, in Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Grant and Alverta Shue.  She was retired as an inspector for Sylvania, and enjoyed many card clubs and Dominos clubs

Mrs. Bailey is survived by five children, Michael Shue, and his wife Blanche, of York, David Bailey, and his wife Brenda, of York, Yvonne Schnacke, and her husband Ron, of York, Cindy Zeigler, of Manchester, and Bruce Bailey, and his wife Polly, of Yoe; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jeffrey Zeigler.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, August 30, 2024, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester.  Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
