John L. Garcia, age 64, of Dover, Delaware, died at 2:30 AM Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington.
Born March 11, 1958 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the son of the late Margarito L. Garcia, and the late Juanita M. (Salaz) Carney, he served in the US Army from 1976-1979, and was retired as a baker and donut maker.
Mr. Garcia is survived by two daughters, Shaynee, and Jody; and a sister, Donna M. Stradling, and her husband Robert, of York. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Karchner.
Private burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with full military honors. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
