Jose M. Maldonado-Torres, age 79, of York, died at 7:00 AM Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Kingston Court Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born January 12, 1946, in Utuado, Puerto Rico a son of the late Filipe Maldonado and the late Juana Torres, he worked as a supervisor for Peter Paul Cadbury and coached youth sports.

Mr. Maldonado is survived by two sons, Joseph S. Maldonado, and his wife Julie, of Marietta, and Christopher Maldonado, of York; a daughter, Crystal F. Pearson, of Dallastown; eight grandchildren, one great grandson, 17 siblings.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 PM Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York with Pastor Carlos Kelly officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00-4:00 PM. Private burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
