On Tuesday, August 29th, Joseph “Joe” Mark Brillhart of Stewartstown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Born May 20, 1951, in York, he was a son of the late Jacob W. and Florence J. (Bamberger) Brillhart of Dallastown, PA. He is survived by his wife, Anna Christina (Aloysius) Brillhart, his three daughters: Jessica, Jasmine and Jenna, and his siblings: Nancy Rosier, Jack Brillhart and Kathy Stoll. He is also survived by his extended family members both in the U.S.A and Singapore.
Joe was a longtime employee of JCI and member of the IDEA. After retiring in 2017 he never lost his sense of curiosity or drive to learn and invent new things. He spent his days doing what he loved most: fishing, listening to music, grilling on his Big Green Egg and gardening. Joe was an incredible force and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of services that will be held in private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Joseph’s name to the National Prion Disease Pathology Surveillance Center at Case Western Reserve University. Donations can be sent to NPDPSC by mail or by email cjdsurveillance@uhhospitals.org.
