Joyce E. Eisenberger, age 98, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Brightmore Independent Living in Wilmington, North Carolina. She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Eisenberger who died in 1975.

Born August 30, 1926, in York, a daughter of the late Ellis C. and Cornelia K. (Spangler) Boyer, she was a 1944 graduate of William Penn Senior High School and was a member of Covenant Moravian church in York.

Mrs. Eisenberger is survived by a son, Robert W. Baer, and his wife Georgia, of Wilmington, North Carolina; grandson, Ret. Col. Scott D. Baer, and his wife Monica, of Hampstead, North Carolina; two great granddaughters, Courtney Baer Ziesman, and her husband Cortlyn, of Hampstead, and Sophie Baer Compiano, and her husband Jared, of Hampstead;  two great-great granddaughters, Chloe Compiano, of Hampstead, and Sadie Compiano, of Hampstead; a stepson, Donald Eisenberger, and his wife Sue, of Ephrata; and nieces, great nieces, nephews, and great nephews.

Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of private funeral arrangements. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
