Joyce E. Tusing

Joyce E. Tusing, age 76, of York, died at 10:54 PM, Monday, December 27, 2021 at her residence. She was the former wife and best friend of Wilson Hostetter.

Born November 29, 1945, in York, she was a daughter of the late Elam Harbold and Ethel (Flinchbaugh) Plank. She was a member of Freedom Biker Church, enjoyed helping others and was a motorcycle enthusiast.

Ms. Tusing is survived by three sons, Richard C. Tusing and his wife Donna of South Dakota, Michael E. Tusing and his wife Jackie of Manchester and Rodney A. Tusing of Seven Valleys; two brothers, Pete and Edward Harbold; two sisters Stephanie Lehr and Jackie; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Fife; three brothers, Gerald, James and John Harbold and two sisters Janice Nabb and Jean Bacon.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 PM, Thursday, January 6, 2022 at The Semmel Chapel of Workinger Semmel Funeral Home and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with Pastor Jim Quoss officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 PM. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
