Judy Ann Kertell

Judy A. Kertell, age 87, of Conewago Township, York, died at 12:10 AM Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at UPMC Memorial.  She was the wife of the late Charles S. Kertell, and the late Harvey Smith.

Born May 4, 1938, in York, she was the daughter of the late John and Madeline (MacDonald) Clark.  She was a homemaker, but had previously worked at BJ’s Wholesale Club and the Pennsylvania Saw Factory.

Mrs. Kertell is survived by a daughter, Lori A. Smith, of York; two grandsons, Jeremy Crist, and his wife Kara, and Jason Watts, and his family; and three great grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Clark; and a son, Harvey Smith.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, October 6, 2025, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with The Rev. Bonnie Whittier officiating.  Viewing will be 1-2:00 PM.  Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
