K. Jean Blauser, age 94, of York, died Monday, August 9th at 1:32 a.m. at SpiriTrust Lutheran, the Village at Sprenkle Drive. She was the wife of the late Morgan S. “Muggs” Blauser, Jr.
Born December 18, 1926, in York, Mrs. Blauser was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Helen G. (Ayres) Calder. She retired from Campbell Chain and was a charter member of Hayshire United Church of Christ and a 19M45 graduate of William Penn High School.
Mrs. Blauser is survived by three daughters, Linda K. McCarty and her husband Timothy and Wendy S. Bosler and her husband Duane both of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and Glenda J. Burgess of Garland, Texas; nine grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Her two brothers, Ohrum Calder and Glenn Calder preceded her in death.
Graveside services will take place 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Mount Rose Cemetery, with Reverend Brenda Marin Enders officiating. Workinger Semmel Funeral Home and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, will arrange the service.
