Katherine Almeyda

Katherine Almeyda, age 59, of West York, died at 2:01 PM Monday, October 9, 2023.

Born August 22, 1964, in Manhattan, New York, a daughter of the late Edward and Leocadia (Riveria) Almeyda, she worked as a Certified Recovery Specialist for Gaudenzia Integrity House.

Ms. Almeyda is survived by her six children: Jasmine, Janine, Kathleen, Vincent, Jonathan, and Rebecca Camacho; a sister, Christy Pisker, along her husband, John and two nephews, Nicholas and Peter Glass; and ten grandchildren, Jalaysha Rojas, Luisa Rojas, Natalia Martinez, Jaslene Camacho, Kathaleen Pascual, Aaliyah Swan, Janeida Camacho, Jazhari Camacho, Jazale Camacho, Aniya Camacho.

The viewing is scheduled from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Joseph Moore officiating. Food and refreshments following the service from 3:00 – 5:00 pm in honor of Katherine at:  Jabez Ministries 40 Jefferson Avenue, York PA 17404.
