Katyah (Kathy Ann) Gohr, age 70, of Allentown, died Friday evening at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Born April 25, 1955, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Maxine E. (Kendall) Gohr. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Michigan and worked as a Chaplain and a Jewish Musician and Composer.
She is survived by her adopted sisters, Rabbi Melody Davis, and her husband Edwin, and their children, and Rabbi Tamar Earnest, and her late husband William.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday at Temple Beth Israel, 2090 Hollywood Drive, York, with Rabbi Melody Davis and Rabbi Seth Phillips officiating. Private burial will be in South Hill Hebrew Cemetery. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
