Kay L. Slautterback, age 77, of Springettsbury Township, York, entered her Lord’s presence Friday morning, January 20, 2023, from her residence. She was the godly and faithful wife of Pastor David W. Slautterback.
She was born October 25, 1945, in York, the daughter of the late John W. and Louise R. (Thornton) Tarman. She was a member of Ambassadors Bible Chapel in Manchester.
Having become a follower of Jesus Christ, along with her husband in her early married years, she was very supportive of his later pastoral ministry and was known for her hospitality and her servant’s heart.
In addition to her husband of 56 years, Mrs. Slautterback is survived by four daughters, Dana P. Herman, her husband Daniel, of Pottstown, Krista L. Milburn, her husband Stephen, of Greenville, South Carolina, Anna E. Gerber, of York, and Julia M. Krauss-Colón, her husband Alexander, of York; eight grandchildren, Daniel J. Herman, David S. Herman, Caroline D. Milburn, Elisabeth K. Milburn, Abigail R. Gerber, William H. Gerber, Emma K. Krauss, Esmé I. Colón and a brother, John W. Tarman, Jr. of York.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with Pastor Robert Smoker officiating. Visitations will be 5- 7:00 PM Monday, and 9-10:00 AM Tuesday. Burial will be at Mount Zion Cemetery.
