Kemp A. Einsig, a beloved father, son and brother, age 63, of Springettsbury Township, York, died Monday, June 28, 2021 at his residence doing what he loved, masonry work.
Born February 16, 1958 in York, he was a son of Sylvia J.L. (Fogle) Einsig, of York, and the late Joseph R. Einsig. He was retired as a self employed mason contractor, and graduated from Vo-Tech in 1976. He was a character and made everyone laugh everywhere he went. He was a member of the Hawk Gunning Club and the 13th Ward Democratic Club.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Einsig is survived by a son, Joshua A. Einsig, and his wife Traci, of York; a daughter, Arianna J. Einsig, of York; a grandson, Tyler Einsig; two sisters, Christine M. Dalaperas, and her husband Christopher, of York and Sherina L. Einsig, of York; his best friend, Kevin Reichard; and his former spouse, Daysi Einsig, of York.
Preceded in death was his beloved father Joseph and his brother Shawn Einsig.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at The Semmel Chapel of Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York. Wear your Minnesota Vikings or New York Yankees attire to honor Kemp. Visitation will be 4-5:00 PM. Private burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
