Kenneth M. Silberstein

Kenneth M. Silberstein, age 73, of York Township, York, died at 12:54 PM Friday, March 27, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of Kristi C. (Cowell) Silberstein.

Born December 18, 1952, in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Morton and Estelle (Keller) Silberstein. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Shippensburg University and his Master’s in Business Administration from Penn State University. He retired as the owner of Power Up Group and also worked as an Adjunct Professor of Economics at York College. He was a member of Temple Beth Israel, where he previously served as past president and was a member of AA for more than 30 years.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Silberstein is survived by a son, Jordan Smith, and his wife Ashley, of York; a daughter, Rachel Silberstein, and her boyfriend Gavin, of Lebanon; a grandson, Connor Smith; and five sisters, Diane Hinson, Lisa Silberstein-Barrios, Susan Whitlock, Ellen Buller, and Cheryl Anderson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, March 30, 2026, at Temple Beth Israel, 2090 Hollywood Drive, York, with Rabbi Melody Davis officiating. Interment services, with military honors, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
