Larry E. Snyder, age 86, of Goldsboro, went to be with the Lord at 4:16 AM Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Church of God Home in Carlisle. He was the husband of the late Geraldine J. “Gerry” (Rothrock) Snyder.

Born July 5, 1938, in Goldsboro, he was the son of the late Charles H. and Pauline W. (Miller) Snyder.  He was a US Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War having served from 1963-1969 and was retired as a Naval Supply Specialist from the Naval Depot in Mechanicsburg.  He was a member of Goldsboro Church of God and had been a member of the Goldsboro Fire Company, where he served as treasurer for many years.

Mr. Snyder is survived by a daughter, Karen M. Heishman, and her husband Steven, of Carlisle; and two grandchildren, Kyle Heishman, and Erika Heishman, and her husband Caleb.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM Saturday, November 23, 2024, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester. Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 AM. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberrytown, with military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
