Larry G. Warner

Larry G. Warner, age 74, of York, died at 7:20 AM Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Wellspan York Hospital. He was the husband of Debra S. (Holler) Warner. The couple observed their 51st wedding anniversary on August 23, 2022.

Born September 18, 1947, in York, a son of the late George W. and Mary L. (DeHoff) Warner, he was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Shiloh Legion and was a life member of the 12th Ward Club. He was also a volunteer with York City Fire Police for 25 years, and a Lieutenant for Strinestown Community Fire Company for 10 years.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Warner is survived by a son, Larry G. Warner, Jr., and his wife Jozetta, of York; a daughter, Patty Warner, of York; a granddaughter, Erika Taylor; and a brother, Donald Gotwalt, and his wife Amy, of Lewisberry. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, James Warner, Kenneth Gotwalt and Richard Gotwalt and a sister, Pearl Gladfelter.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York. Viewing will be from 9:00-10:00 AM.  Burial will be private.
