Larry V. Weimer Obituary

Larry Vincent Weimer, 78, of York, passed away August 31, 2024, at York Hospital, with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of 50 years to Annie D. Weimer, who passed August 31, 2015.

Born December 22, 1945, in Leitersburg, MD, a son of the late Earl and June (Weimer) Evans, he proudly served his country in the Unites States Marine Corps from 1966-1970 and retired from Harley Davidson after 36 years. He was quite the handyman, always busy doing something. Larry was a kind, funny, loving person who enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Larry was the devoted father of two daughters, Lisa Foster, and her husband Jay, and Machelle Bair, and her husband Tom; and Pappy to many grandchildren who will miss him dearly, Katelynn, Lianna, Dezirae, Ryan, Jillian, Ruby, Emily, and Dale; and three great-grandbabies, Madison, Harper, and Lincoln. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Alta Williams.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Evans; and a sister, Judith (Evans) Malone.

Larry will be greatly missed by his beloved family, friends and sweet dog, Nikki.
