Laura E. Heineman, age 68, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Etters, died at 3:18 PM Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Shrewsbury. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Heineman.
Born July 6, 1957, in York, a daughter of the late Richard and Freda (Tusing) Beard, she was retired from Highmark Blue Shield where she worked as a Claims Coder.
Mrs. Heineman is survived by four children, Chris Heineman, and his wife Stacy of Harrisburg, Sarah B. Heineman, of Pittsburgh, Richard E. Heineman, and his wife Kelly, of New Freedom, and Laura Ashley Heineman, and her husband Zachary Appleby, of Shrewsbury; six grandchildren, Keil, Rachel, Adalyn, Abigail, Arthur, and Leona; three brothers, Rodney, Fred, and Homer Beard; and a sister, Mae Milletics. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Frank Beard; and a sister, Sarah Eby.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, December 11, 2025, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with Pastor Katie Brantner officiating. Visitations will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday and 1:00-2:00 PM Thursday. Private burial will be in Fetrow’s Cemetery.
