Lauretta M. Daugherty

Lauretta M. Daugherty, age 93, of Springettsbury Township, York, went home
to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Autumn House-East.
She was the wife of the late Veryle Daugherty, who passed away in 1993.

Born August 29, 1927 in York, a daughter of the late Clyde and Janet
(Garrett) Cosgrove, she was a graduate of William Penn High School. She was
an active member of Covenant Moravian Church, enjoyed bowling and mini-
golfing, trips to the beach, weekly trips to the movie theater, and spending
time with family and her beloved pet poodles, C.J. and Cotton.

Mrs. Daugherty is survived by a son, Cory Daughtery, and his wife Sharon, of
York; a daughter, Janis Lloyd, and her husband Robert, of York; six
grandchildren, Shana, and her husband, Tom, Casey, and her husband, Dan,
Jordan, Jennifer, Alex, and Susan; two great grandchildren, Ashton and River;
and a brother, Henry Cosgrove, and his wife Linda. She was preceded in
death by a brother, Ronald Cosgrove.

Funeral services will be private with The Rev. John Fritts, officiating. Burial will
be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes
and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
