Lenore S. Drescher, age 101, of Elizabethtown, formerly of York, died early AM Saturday June 7, 2025, at The Masonic Village in Elizabethtown. She was the wife of the late George W. Drescher.

Born October 3, 1923, in Hummelstown, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Anna (Bolton) Shoop.  She retired as Office Manager for the Blaine Rentzel Group of Companies and was a member of the Young Woman’s Club for more than 65 years.

Mrs. Drescher is survived by two daughters, Elaine D. Lockard, and her husband Rodney, of York, and Lois D. Hansen, and her husband Wally, of Anchorage, Alaska; and a grandson, Schuyler Thompson. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Shoop; and two sisters, Gladys Mathias, and Annabelle Staub.
