Lesa L. Stambaugh, age 56, of West Lampeter Township, Lancaster, died at 10:36 Am Thursday, May 1, 2025, at her residence.

Born June 23, 1968, in York, she was the daughter of the late Barry L. and Elena L. (Fuller) Stambaugh and owned a used car dealerships throughout the region.

A graduate of Central High School June in 1986. She was chosen to work for the NHRA and Pontiac-GMC Drag Racing organization as the first female to hold that position. She traveled the USA in this capacity until she was married and moved to Australia in 2003 and lived and worked in the automobile industry for 10yrs, when she returned to York PA to care for her ailing mother.

Lesa was the kind of person who had an infectious smile and positive attitude. Lesa loved the people she met. She could enter a room full of strangers and by the time the event was over, everyone in the room would leave as her best friend and know their names and life story. She had the ability to make everyone she met feel as if they were the most important person she met.

Ms. Stambaugh is survived by a brother, Eric W. Moss, and his wife Lesley, of Maryland; and close friend and caretaker, George Quickel, of Ephrata.

A memorial reception will be held from 6-8:00 PM Friday, May 16, 2025, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York.
