Leticia Nicole Velez was born on February 5, 1993, at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, to Damaris Ramos She was the eldest of three children and carried that role with love, strength, and a big heart. Leticia affectionately Known to everyone as Letty or Chu was fun-loving, goofy, an energetic soul who brought light wherever she went. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence could instantly change the mood in a room.

Letty had a beautiful creative spirit. She loved to draw and write, often pouring her thoughts and emotions into poems and journals. Writing became her safe place—a way for her to find peace, express herself, and heal. As she grew older, that creativity blossomed into a career in cosmetology. She truly loved making people feel good about themselves, whether through doing hair or makeup, and took pride in helping others feel confident and seen.

Even during difficult times, Letty never lost her sense of humor. In the midst of pain, she still found ways to laugh and, more importantly, to make others laugh too. Helping people came naturally to her, and she gave so much of herself to those around her.

Leticia leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her mother, Damaris; her siblings, Victor Jr. Kaylicia, Kyle (sister in law) and her three precious children(Tyrelle Jr., Tyla and baby Kassia), who were the light of her life; her grandmother, Francisca “Honey”; her aunts, Gloria and Anita
cousins Sylvia, Montel, Chanel, Mariah, Alaysia, Brianna and along with many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever miss her laughter, her kindness, and her beautiful spirit.
