Linda E. Garner

Linda E. Garner, age 73, of Spring Garden Township, York, died at 11:12 PM Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law.  She was the wife of the late James Garner.

Born August 18, 1948 in York, a daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Delores E. (Heiner) Kauffman, she was retired from the East York Walmart.

Mrs. Garner is survived by a daughter, Jennifer L. Myers, and her husband Russel, of York; a son, Chad A. Deardorff, and his wife Jessica, of York; four grandchildren, Jordan Deardorff, Tyler Digiovanni, Adam Deardorff, and Sophia Deardorff; and a brother, Kenneth C. Kauffman, of North Carolina.

A celebration of Mrs. Garner’s life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with The Rev. Bonnie Whittier officiating.  Visitation will be 9-10:00 AM.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County SPCA, 3159 North Susquehanna Trail, York PA 17406.
