Linda A. Klimes, age 87, of Springettsbury Township, York, died at 8:22 PM Monday, June 1, 2026, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Dr. Ronald L. Klimes.

Born November 13, 1938, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Herbert E. and Ruth (Conrad) Martin.  She worked in the office of her husband’s medical practice until the time of his retirement, and was a member of the Women’s Medical Auxiliary, and the York Hospital Medical Auxiliary, and was a volunteer at the York Fair for many years.

Mrs. Klimes is survived by three sons, David A. Klimes, of Hudson, Florida, Lawrence M. Klimes, and his spouse Kenneth Silver, of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Brian E. Klimes, of York; two grandsons, Benjamin, and Riley Klimes; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Fred and Phyllis Klimes, of Hanover. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce and Brian Martin.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 PM Friday, June 5, 2026, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York. Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 PM. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
