Lois L. Hoffman

Lois L. Hoffman, age 93, of York, died at 6:31 PM Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at The Gardens of Camp Hill. She was the wife of the late George A. Hoffman.

Born August 23, 1931, in Derry Township, Dauphin County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Guy and Ethel (Wilt) Hyde.

Mrs. Hoffman is survived by a son, Raymond Rider, and his wife Karen, of Hummelstown; four daughters, Lois Rider, of Elizabethtown, Linda Roach, of York, Karen Lehr, of Mount Wolf, and Raeann Wagman, of Dover; fourteen grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Morris; and a brother, Charles “Sonny” Hyde. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Cheryl and Paula Rider; a grandson, Jeremy Rider; and four brothers, Carl Hyde, Melvin Eugene “Gene” Hyde, John Hyde, and Sterling Hyde.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
